As director for her first production of "On That Night", I was amazed at the seamless manner in which Miriam's composition and lyrics blended beautifully to reflect the emotion and motivation of each character. The actors/vocalists were quickly able to personalize their character's awe and struggle and the music and lyrics fit each unique character perfectly. As a director, one can only dream of such a treasure of talent and skill. I look forward to seeing and hearing much more of her work not only in Austin but nationally."

It was presented at the First Evangelical Free Church in Austin. The story was inspiring, the music was moving, and the production values were impressive with a full orchestra and a large, talented class of local actors and singers. Was it mainstream theatre—no. But sitting in that packed church for the second show (and the second capacity crowd of the day) I experienced how powerful theatre can be wherever it happens, and I realized how much of an impact Guild members can have on the local level; it made me grateful to be a part of this organization that day.”
